North Economic Review (NER) is a peer-reviewed, international and open access journal published by The Department of Economics and Physics from Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, North University Center of Baia Mare, Romania. It is issued in online format once a year, in October. The manuscripts must be submitted until 1st of July in order to be included in the issue published in October.
Aims and scope
North Economic Review seeks to promote research that contributes to the sharing of new theoretical, methodological and empirical knowledge in the field of the Economic Sciences. The papers published in NER have no length restriction and may be, but are not limited to:
- Research articles that bring on the table new discoveries in the journal’s field of interest;
- Case studies that describe interventions or experiences within organizations in order to contribute significantly to the knowledge of one of the journal’s topics;
- Review papers that present a new perspective/point of view over some theoretical issues from the journal’s field of interest.
By having a multi-disciplinary approach, NER publishes articles form a wide range of topics, such as: Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Economic growth, Smart economy, Sustainable development and sustainability, Econometrics, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Leadership, Human Resources, Organizational behavior, Entrepreneurship, General Business, Management, Information Management, Modeling and Simulation in Business Informatics, Quality Management, Strategic Management, Change Management and organizational development, Project Management, Service Management, Production and operations management, Technology and innovation management, International business, Industry, area or region specific studies.
