Department of Economics and Physics – Faculty of Science (Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, North University Center of Baia Mare) invites you to the third North International Conference on Economics (NICE) which will take place on 21st – 22nd September 2018 in Baia Mare, Romania.
The NICE conference seeks to be an important international gathering of worldwide scholars, researchers, faculty members and doctorate students, in order to create a space for debate and dissemination of new theoretical, methodological and empirical knowledge in the field of economic science. The theme of NICE 2018 is: “Strategies, tools and innovative solutions for economic and organisational development”.
The main sections of the NICE 2018 are:
- Management & marketing
- Finance & accounting
- Sustainable development
- Economic studies
- Modelling and simulation in business informatics
Important dates:
- Deadline for full paper submissions: July 29, 2018
- Notification of acceptance: September 7, 2018
- Final registration ends: September 14, 2018
- Conference: September 21 – 22, 2018
Paper submission
All submissions must be entirely original, not previously published, and must not be under concurrent consideration or scheduled for presentation elsewhere.
The official language of the conference is English. All papers must be submitted in English, no later than July 29, 2018, at the following e-mail address: nice.utcn@gmail.com. Please specify your name and the title of your paper in the body of your e-mail. All submitted papers will be subject of a blind peer review. Selection for inclusion in the conference program will be based upon quality, originality, and relevance for the conference theme.
The papers will not exceed 15 pages and must comply with the Template available for download at: http://ner.cunbm.utcluj.ro/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/PaperTemplate-NER.docx that explains all the requirements in detail. Papers not conforming to the conference style will be returned.
Accepted submissions will be published in the North Economic Review (ISSN 2601 – 0887) indexed in RePEc, EconPapers, IDEAS, CEEOL, and Google Scholar. All published papers will be also available, with free full text access, on the site of the journal: http://ner.cunbm.utcluj.ro/.
Several articles can be selected for publication in the UTMS Journal of Economics (ISSN 1857 – 6974) indexed in DOAJ, EBSCO, ProQuest, RePEc and other international scientific databases.
No more than two papers will be accepted from any author.
Conference fees
There are No FEES to register, attend or present at the Conference. Each participant will receive a certificate of attendance and an electronic copy of the North Economic Review. Drinks and snacks during session breaks will be prepared and sponsored by conference organisers and sponsors. All other expenses of the conference participants are not covered by conference organisers and sponsors. Thus, transport and accommodation costs will be covered by participants.
